“Join hands to fight the epidemic and spread the strength of unity”

This is a collective work of art. In late March, Cashin launched an online initiative asking people to make origami birds at home to raise money for the construction of a COVID-19 care unit at Erasmus Hospital. The initiative has been echoed by enthusiasts around the world. Participants actively commented on social media and shared their making process; “Thank you”, “salute” and other words, family names and love, Red Cross patterns left on the origami; Some of them called classmates, some mobilized the whole family, some made hundreds of origami birds……
